Hi I'm Bre!  I was born and raised in Prairieville and am excited to help the members of my community.   I value the privilege of hearing someone else’s story and allowing individuals to feel like they are not alone. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, reading and staying active (volleyball is my favorite sport!)   I am a newlywed and we have a fur baby named Sophie. 

 Some of my favorite approaches to therapy include Art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person centered therapy, reality therapy,  and play therapy.   As a therapist, I am always learning, growing and refining my skills, but ultimately, my focus is on the individual client and their particular goals and needs on any given day or week. 

I  works with children (ages 10 and up) , adolescents, and adults.  I enjoy working with individuals living with depression, anxiety, and experiencing relationship difficulties. Additionally, I enjoy working with children and use both art and play therapy to facilitate healing.  I also work with children and their parents through individual and family sessions on topics including, but not limited to: communication, family conflicts, and parenting strategies.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Nicholls State University, and a Master of Education degree in Counseling  from Southeastern Louisiana University.  I hold the following licenses and certifications:
